SINOPSIS
Punk was not a purely masculine movement - and inside the genre, subgenres were born. Riot Grrl was a movement of female protagonism and feminist affirmation embedded in punk, and queercore, the LGBT punk. Lucy Thane followed several North-American bands of those movements through their tours and offers, in She's Real, an intimate portrait of a movement that embraced minorities and gave voice to hundreds of girls.
